Player Registration

San Diego’s Prime of Life Women’s Soccer League (POLWSL) is a recreational soccer league devoted to women over 48 years old. Our skill level ranges from beginners to women who have played for more than 40 years.

It is our aim to foster a community of women passionate about soccer with sportswomanship and camaraderie in mind!

Ages

There are approximately 200 women in our league aged 48 to late 60s and even 70s.

We currently have 6 over 48 teams and 2 over 60 scrimmage teams.

Where and When

During the Winter/Spring and Fall seasons, we play at Alcott Elementary School. Summer is played at Whitman Elementary School (both in Clairemont)

From January to June, we play on Saturdays.

From June through August, we play weeknights in an open format.

Finally, from September through mid-December we go back to Saturdays.

Returning Players

If you are a returning player, please use the button on the right to register yourself to your team for the upcoming season.

Fall 2026

You will need to know the name of your team to register. If you do not have a team, you can register for the Sub List. Registering on the Sub List does not guarantee that you will be called to play games every week.

Be sure to select the appropriate team name on the pricing page. If you have a discount code, it should be entered on the top of the pricing page (where the team names are) not at the end when you pay.

If you are new to the league, be prepared to upload your proof of age. Acceptable forms include any government or military issued identification that includes name and birth date (DL, ID card, passport, birth certificate).
